It's every plant manager's nightmare, the most critical machine in the facility goes down at the worst possible time. Most often the solution requires a discontinued or obsoleted part(s). There are lots of machines of all makes and models that were built in the 70's and 80's that are still being used for manufacturing. Some of the OEM's are long gone leaving the customer with no where to turn for parts and support.
This is where REA Technologies comes in. We are your #1 source for just such parts. If we can't find the part we can most often provide the customer with a solution. We have the capability to spec out and retrofit something else made by another manufacturer that will get your machine back online. If we can't find it we can often times fabricate it. We recently had an instance where one of our customers, Technibilt, sent in a drive. It turned out to have a bad current sense module that just could not be found in a timely manner. With our vast knowledge of many different manufacturers spanning all industries we were able to cross it to another manufacturer, retrofit it into the unit and get our customer back up and running within 24hrs.
So the next time an OEM tells you that a particular part is no longer available with no replacement don't get discouraged or panic. Contact REA Technologies. We are available 24/7/365 to keep your manufacturing process moving. Odds are that we can offer you a solution when time is of the essence. We are your parts procurement specialists for any machine in any industry!

We had a customer that their Burkle press wouldn't outfeed the boards. We checked all of the input sensors and they were all good. The technician found a problem in the program, accessed it thru the operating screen, made some changes, and the Burkle press worked like a champ.
Ever had an E-Stop that wouldn't reset no matter what you did? This was just the case recently on a Rye CNC machine. There were no outputs at all. In less than 2 hours our technician found the problem and rectified it. He cycled the machine several times and all came up good. As you can see, it pays to call in someone who knows how to efficiently and quickly solve the problem. Here at www.reatechnologies.com accuracy and efficiency are the norm. When you need answers or solutions, we are here.
Anyone who maintains industrial electronic equipment knows how aggravating E-stop problems can be. Recently, we were called in on such a problem with a Busellato Jet 4002XL CNC with a Pilz E-stop module giving a "General Emergency" alarm. The technician traced out the circuits of the E-stop, found the problem, and corrected it. The problem was solved in 3 hours and the customer was back in production.
